Workshops and dedicated mentors are invaluable in creative fields, but supportive environments often exist exclusively - and inaccessibly - within academic structures.

That's just not fair.

I was fortunate enough to have the opportunity to study literature and creative writing, and completed an MFA with a focus on poetry. I recognize the privilege I had in being offered two years to focus only on writing, and want more than anything to facilitate a creative safe space for any writer looking for one.
